People learn best in community, when they are engaged with one another, when everyone is both student and teacher, expert and apprentice, in a rich exchange of experience and learnings.
Upon successful completion of the Redfish School of Change, you will be awarded 4.5 units of course credit for three courses at the University of Victoria.
ES 380: The Political Ecology of Food
ES 382: Ecology of Sustenance
ES 370: Leadership Skills for Community Action
The Redfish School of Change is available only for credit. Because students cannot audit the program, all particpants must be eligible for enrollment at the post-secondary level. Alternate credit may be available and is considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you are a visiting student, you must apply to the University of Victoria for admission and provide a Letter of Permission from your home institution.
